Philosophy
The Children’s Center for Language and Culture (ChiCeLaCu!) is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services and offers full and part-time preschool and Spanish classes options for children at its Fairfax City and Tysons-Vienna / Falls Church locations as well as online Spanish classes. Children learn Spanish while being exposed to various Latin American cultures through fun, long-term, and highly effective curricula that combine in-person classroom learning and online classes with the visual and performing arts.
Learning another language benefits a child’s intellectual, emotional, and social development. It influences the way children perceive the world and fosters respect for diversity and acceptance of individual differences. Becoming proficient in a language takes time and dedication, but the benefits are endless! Our goal for our students is to achieve Spanish proficiency in 4 years.
